Once one of the foremost experts on spell theory on the isle of Nuvar, Ronan was recently banished from all the isles of Arkaz. He has not been seen on the isles since that time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan appears to be a man in his mid-twenties, with black robes that are trimmed with red runes. His clothes are kept in pristine condition and he keeps exceptionally clean. Ronan is rarely seen without at least one book at his belt, and is usually also carrying two thin, long rapiers. When his left hand is ungloved, it bears draconic scales.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== History == &lt;br /&gt;
The individual known as Ronan arrived at the seas of Nuvar by shipwreck, without memory and without his name. A passing boat rescued him from the water and brought him to the south docks. He was nicknamed 'Grey' by an elven woman named Alysia, for the color of his clothes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The one memory Grey did seem to have is that he had once been a wizard, with access to many spells. With the loss of his memories he also lost his spells. In order to gain back his memories, he re-sought the magic he had lost, studying at the Tower of Wisdom and collecting scrolls from willing patrons and less willing goblins.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Grey joined the [[Nuvar Mage School]] as an apprentice once he had relearned the spark of wizardry. Around this time, he also recalled his correct name of Ronan. After some months of personal training, he began to teach classes to the other apprentices and students at the school. During this time the a group of bandits identified by a black rose tattoo began appearing throughout Nuvar and attacking travelers; Ronan aided the school with research into portals so that the bandits could be traced.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan aided in the navigation to, and the mapping of, the safe path to Avarine along with Captain Jissel, Rune, the ship's crew, and several heroes. Over the course of several months, he underwent a trial with others in order to locate a focus stone, then helped to awaken the four elemental spirits that would restore the island to its former glory, and awaken the avariel who were native to the island. He still travels to Avarine from time to time, though his visits have ben far less frequent as of late.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During a time in which orcs were attempting to invate the goblin isle and Nuvar, Ronan helped defend Nuvar and fight off the orc camps, and was temporarily volunteered into the army by Commander Orcslayer until the orc threat was no more. Sometime during these attacks and the attacks by the Black Rose bandits, Raven became a bodyguard to Ronan. It is possible this came about because Ronan had been attacked by one of the bandits, or for other reasons.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After many months of teaching, Ronan was promoted to a full teacher at the school. He continued to take on research projects while teaching the students, aiding in the study and search for the Pendant of the Amulet of Pelagia that had been taken by a necromancer and used to summon armies of drowned sailors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan was one of the first mortals on Nuvar to learn of the connection to [[Yamman Arda]], and was approached by a messenger named Lillith about the subject. The two of them came to the city of Nuvar to ask for aid in preventing the two realms from collapsing, and a group of heroes traveled to Yamman Arda and in so doing stabilized both realms. Some time later it was requested that he formally take the position of diplomat for Yamman Arda to aid relations between Nuvar and Yamman Arda; he accepted and for many years served as the Ambassador of Yamman Arda. His retirement is recent.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
More recent research Ronan has done included book translations and participating in excursions to seek out a cure for the plague known as the Burning Death when it came to Nuvar, the similar aiding of Ocean's Edge to end the plague there, help in research to purity the well beneath Nuvar when it became corrupted, and researching runes in order to prevent and reverse dangers rituals being done to the mage shrine. During the war between Retribution and Nuvar, Ronan was arrested for the murder of [[Will of Dertmore]], but the charges were dropped before a decision was made. When the elves of Keivick came to attack Nuvar, Ronan led a skeletal army of several thousand undead in the defense of the isle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When Nithhogr came to Nuvar to attempt to destroy Nuvar's worldstone, Ronan aided in defense traveling back in time with others in order to attempt to prevent Nithhogr from obtaining a method of getting to the worldstone. The mission was a failure, but Nithhogr was defeated in the next battle within the worldstone's chamber.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan aided Nuvar and the Isle of Iron in fighting the cult of Xanis when it attempted to take over Iron. He exposed Ream's plans to the Nuvar government, foiling her, and assisted in the killing of the warlord Zurak and the thousands of cultists he kept as his army. He has continued to assist the Isle of Iron and Nuvar in more recent demon attacks to both isles.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Over the course of many months in which Nuvar was plagued by Retribution's forces, the cult of Xanis, and other grave threats, Ronan became close to with a woman known as Sasee, a sorceress striving to master the art of the blade. He proposed to her, and after many months they were finally married. Sasee has not been seen for some time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During the assault of the Rising Eclipse, Ronan, Miranda, and Raven rescued one of three druid staves in order to aid the druids in protecting the Isle of Nuvar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Recently, Ronan was banished from the Nuvar School of Magic by the Lord Mage [[Andristie Meyer]], and convicted of the murder of an orphan child of Nuvar. A public confession was written and presented to the public. Ronan became increasingly distant around the time of his banishment, and began appearing about Nuvar less and less.&lt;br /&gt;

0) Send a request to Team Members if you wish anything unusual in the house.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1) Speak to a Housing Authority NPC IG to set up an account.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2) Send a e-mail to the Head of Housing with a detailed request about the house, including location, the model of the house if it's prebuilt, and a detailed list of the paid-for amenities in the house for a custom house.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3) Once the house is approved you will be able to begin collecting materials.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4) Once all the materials are collected, let the team know and a DM will contact you about a plot to earn the land.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5) Once the plot is done the house will be made live as soon as possible.&lt;br /&gt;

Half-elves raised in elven societies pick up the same skills and training, and as such may also follow the path of the arcane archer. A half-elf raised in human society might be lucky enough to have trained with a bow when young and find an elven instructor to teach them, but it is likely the path would be very difficult for them since they lack the years of formal elven training. Elves refuse to teach those who are not of elven blood in the path of Arcane Archery.&lt;br /&gt;

Formed by the Seer to help train [[Town of Nuvar|Nuvar's]] [[Wizard]]s and [[Sorcerer]]s, this school now helps provide both the [[Nuvar Town Guard]] and [[Nuvar Army]] with trained battle mages. Bards are also welcome at the Nuvar School of Magic. Council Member Lord Mage [[Andristie Meyer]] is the leader of the school. Students entering the school are taught magic and many stay with the school as full members to aid Nuvar with research and fight threats of an arcane nature, including dealing with rogue mages. All schools of the arcane are taught within the school.&lt;br /&gt;

Ronan is known for being one of the foremost experts on spell theory on the isle of Nuvar. Since the ascension of Jarmanis, he has become reserved and distant, seen only fleetingly in the town of Nuvar.&lt;br /&gt;

== History == &lt;br /&gt;
The individual known as Ronan arrived at the seas of Nuvar by shipwreck, without memory and without his name. A passing boat rescued him from the water and brought him to the south docks. He was nicknamed 'Grey' by an elven woman named Alysia, for the color of his clothes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The one memory Grey did seem to have is that he had once been a wizard, with access to many spells. With the loss of his memories he also lost his spells. In order to gain back his memories, he re-sought the magic he had lost, studying at the Tower of Wisdom and collecting scrolls from willing patrons and less willing goblins.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Grey joined the [[Nuvar Mage School]] as an apprentice once he had relearned the spark of wizardry. Around this time, he also recalled his correct name of Ronan. After some months of personal training, he began to teach classes to the other apprentices and students at the school. During this time the a group of bandits identified by a black rose tattoo began appearing throughout Nuvar and attacking travelers; Ronan aided the school with research into portals so that the bandits could be traced.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan aided in the navigation to, and the mapping of, the safe path to Avarine along with Captain Jissel, Rune, the ship's crew, and several heroes. Over the course of several months, he underwent a trial with others in order to locate a focus stone, then helped to awaken the four elemental spirits that would restore the island to its former glory, and awaken the avariel who were native to the island. He still travels to Avarine from time to time, though his visits have ben far less frequent as of late.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During a time in which orcs were attempting to invate the goblin isle and Nuvar, Ronan helped defend Nuvar and fight off the orc camps, and was temporarily volunteered into the army by Commander Orcslayer until the orc threat was no more. Sometime during these attacks and the attacks by the Black Rose bandits, Raven became a bodyguard to Ronan. It is possible this came about because Ronan had been attacked by one of the bandits, or for other reasons.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After many months of teaching, Ronan was promoted to a full teacher at the school. He continued to take on research projects while teaching the students, aiding in the study and search for the Pendant of the Amulet of Pelagia that had been taken by a necromancer and used to summon armies of drowned sailors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ronan was one of the first mortals on Nuvar to learn of the connection to [[Yamman Arda]], and was approached by a messenger named Lillith about the subject. The two of them came to the city of Nuvar to ask for aid in preventing the two realms from collapsing, and a group of heroes traveled to Yamman Arda and in so doing stabilized both realms. Some time later it was requested that he formally take the position of diplomat for Yamman Arda to aid relations between Nuvar and Yamman Arda; he accepted and for many years served as the Ambassador of Yamman Arda. His retirement is recent.&lt;br /&gt;

More recent research Ronan has done included book translations and participating in excursions to seek out a cure for the plague known as the Burning Death when it came to Nuvar, the similar aiding of Ocean's Edge to end the plague there, help in research to purity the well beneath Nuvar when it became corrupted, and researching runes in order to prevent and reverse dangers rituals being done to the mage shrine. During the war between Retribution and Nuvar, Ronan led a skeletal army of several thousand undead against the attacking elves of Keivick. When Nithhogr came to Nuvar to attempt to destroy Nuvar's worldstone, Ronan aided in defense traveling back in time with others in order to attempt to prevent Nithhogr from obtaining a method of getting to the worldstone. The mission was a failure, but Nithhogr was defeated in the next battle within the worldstone's chamber.&lt;br /&gt;

For deities that do not count paladins among their followers, divine champions fill the role of the church-sponsored warrior.&lt;br /&gt;

Formed by the Seer to help train [[Town of Nuvar|Nuvar's]] [[Wizard]]s and [[Sorcerer]]s, this school now helps provide both the [[Nuvar Town Guard]] and [[Nuvar Army]] with trained battle mages. Bards are also welcome at the Nuvar School of Magic. Council Member Lord Mage [[Andristie Meyer]] is the leader of the school. Students entering the school are taught magic and many stay with the school as full members to aid Nuvar with research and fight threats of an arcane nature, including dealing with rogue mages. All schools of the arcane are taught within the school.&lt;br /&gt;

The school has aided Nuvar during many times of strife in the past. Notable examples include helping fight the dracolich Nithhogr, defeating a powerful necromancer that was plaguing Nuvar, and offering their members to fight alongside the offense at Keivick on the day the lich Retribution attempted to steal the mage shrine for himself.&lt;br /&gt;

The Isle of Keivick is a tall island populated by a group of militant elves. The Isle is heavily built up, with forts and a central castle. Some say the isle is cursed. The elves of Keivick, while skilled craftsmen, are xenophobic and hostile to all outsiders, so Keivick does not see any trading with other isles. It is often frequented by explorers and adventurers wishing to test their skill or luck investigating the place.&lt;br /&gt;

Nuvar is the largest of the islands and has several human settlements. The first island to be settled, Nuvar boasts a handful of hamlets and villages as well as a small town.  The island also boasts several ports. The island's main business is farming and crops are exported to many of the other islands. The climate of Nuvar is warm throughout the year, though a recent incident turned the weather cold and snowy for a time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The deep forests of Nuvar provide a home for a large amount of wildlife, some of it quite dangerous. Much of Nuvar is covered in forests, and Nuvar has several druidic groves and druidic sites upon its land. The most well known is the Circle of Stones, a holy site of [[Dertmore]] watched over by a druid named William.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Also, tribes of goblins, bugbears, and even minotaurs carve out their own territories and are hostile to any who encounter them. The most notorious group of goblins is led by a winged goblin named Bronk, and is responsible for many attempted thefts and plots against the nearby town of Nuvar.&lt;br /&gt;

The Town of Nuvar's docks, on the Southern tip of the island, is where visitors normally first arrive. Because of this, most people can be found either in the town itself. Currently, other islands are less populated. Nuvar is considered the travel hub of the Islands of Arkaz and the Town of Nuvar is its official capital. &lt;br /&gt;

Boasting of three thriving settlements, a small hunting encampment, and plenty of land to explore, Nuvar has all a young adventurer needs to begin their journey to greatness.&lt;br /&gt;

The one memory Grey did seem to have is that he had once been a wizard, with access to many spells. With the loss of his memories he also lost his spells. The lowest floor contains Nuvarian history and events; the second floor contains knowledge of the other isles, and the third floor is devoted to educational pursuits. Formed by the Seer to help train [[Town of Nuvar|Nuvar's]] [[Wizard]]s and [[Sorcerer]]s, this school now helps provide both the [[Nuvar Town Guard]] and [[Nuvar Army]] with trained battle mages. Bards are also welcome at the Nuvar School of Magic. Council Member Lord Mage [[Andristie Meyer]] is the leader of the school. Students entering the school are taught magic and many stay with the school as full members to aid Nuvar with research and fight threats of an arcane nature, including dealing with rogue mages. All schools of the arcane are taught within the school.&lt;br /&gt;

The school has aided Nuvar during many times of strife in the past. Ranking within the school is decided by arcane talent and knowledge. Apprentices are new mages who can cast some magic, but are still very much students. Formed by the Seer to help train [[Town of Nuvar|Nuvar's]] [[Wizard]]s and [[Sorcerer]]s, this school now helps provide both the [[Nuvar Town Guard]] and [[Nuvar Army]] with trained battle mages. Bards are also welcome at the Nuvar School of Magic. Council Member Lord Mage [[Andristie Meyer]] is the leader of the school. Students entering the school are taught magic and many stay with the school as full members to aid Nuvar with research and fight threats of an arcane nature, including dealing with rogue mages. All schools of the arcane are taught within the school.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The school has aided Nuvar during many times of strife in the past. Notable examples include helping fight the dracolich Nithhogr, defeating a powerful necromancer that was plaguing Nuvar, and offering their members to fight alongside the offense at Keivick on the day the lich Retribution attempted to steal the mage shrine for himself.&lt;br /&gt;

Ranking within the school is decided by arcane talent and knowledge. Apprentices are new mages who can cast some magic, but are still very much students. As their skill and power progresses, a student mage will slowly advance in ranks within the school, being tested at each new rank, until they have achieved the highest membership position - Senior Archmage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are also staff positions at the school, granted to those members of the school who wish to dedicate time towards training the other students of the school as well as help lead and do administrative work. These positions are granted for ongoing work within the school rather then earned through raw arcane talent.&lt;br /&gt;

Braellis is thought to have been born a mortal man who was gifted with godhood upon his death for his deeds in life. He was said to be a warrior of great prowess in battle; a true master with both blade and bow that few could best. More than his great fighting skills, he had a strong spirit and believed in honor and justice. He was swift and deadly when appropriate, but also fair and merciful when needed. Though far more fierce and warlike than he, [[Olyrn]] took an interest in Braellis and eventually welcomed him into the pantheon of [[Arkaz]]. Olyrn and his paladins will always work to maintain peace, but he knows that with the forces of evil that vie for power in Arkaz, battle is sometimes unavoidable. This is why he trusts the honorable and just Braellis to inspire young and hopeful warriors of the islands. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Above all else, Braellis preaches honor. A warrior of Braellis must not lie, cheat, or kill for amusement. That being said, he sees no shame in each warrior using their own strengths. A quick and deadly archer is as much a warrior as a steel-armored swordsman in his eyes. His belief in justice does not always mean following the letter of the law either. A warrior who fights against corruption and unfairness in the law is as much a warrior as those who uphold law. Personal honor and strength is what is most important to Braellis. &lt;br /&gt;

It is not certain who were the first to become followers of Braellis, but he has becoming known more frequently throughout the islands these days.&lt;br /&gt;
