Count Amalamne was amoung the town's defenders who battled the monster but was eaten by it and his body never recovered. The Sea Monster left and the town was rebuilt for the most part and a statue of the Count was erected to memorialize him. It has been many years since then and the Countess still rules there. They have constant problems with Snowbolds and Frozen Orcs.</del>
