[[Waas]] is a spirit being, an entity who's existence is tied to the land. She often spoke to her followers in the form of a dragon turtle, a creature who is also the symbol of [[Waas]]. <br /> <br /> [[Waas]] is a gentle being, tranquil and passive as the tides. She shepards the natural cycle; the change of seasons, life, growth and death. It takes a severe shift of the natural balance to cause this passive entity to become passionate. She views all creatures as equal, from mice to dragons and other sentient races. All are part of the balance, of the cycle of growth, life and death. Wars are the product of thinking beings and fighting is natural part of existence, yet the total devastation of a race, or of nature is abhorrent to [[Waas]]. <br /> <br /> [[Waas]] fights a constant struggle with her rival, [[Ishaar]], for dominance of the lizardfolk tribes of Seraz. She sees Ishaar as an abomination who's appetites will consume all of Seraz, and beyond. Despite her neutral stance, she is very protective of her followers and will defend them as viciously as a mother bear. Those tribes that follow Waas call themselves the Waasan, or &quot;People of Waas&quot;. <br /> <br /> [[Waas]] has no center of worship, each tribe of Waasan has one or more druidic shaman that venerate her. Among her followers, they stop at any natural body of water to offer prayers and seek her guidance. Pearls are considered holy among the followers of [[Waas]]. They often adorn the clothing and jewelry of her worshippers. They are also dropped in natural bodies of water to ask for her blessings.</div>
