We've now got the WoG Encounter System working.
There are 2 test areas live IG...1 is DM access only, the other is in the middle of the woods.
What this means is our encounters will be DB driven. What does that buy us?
Simple, live adjustable encounters. DM's will soon have a tool that allows them to adjust encounters all over the game without have to make changes to the mod, and changes occur instantly.
Um be warned though if you find the test area...I have EVERY critter that is in the mod loaded into the DB (Except NPCs) and the test aera allows any CR so you might find yourself facing a lot of things.
Now that testing is over and the system works. I'll be making a few Test encounter areas (DM Access Only) to test the different functions. I'll be removing the test tags from the normal areas.
What's next?
Simple, we start designing the setup of all the areas in the DB, this allows us to set max CR for areas, total spawn points, spawns, even what critters spawn at different times of the day.
There are good things in the works.....so keep your eyes open.
