Take note:
When you allow someone to use your inn room key, or give a copy to someone, they become a co-owner of that inn room the moment they open the door to that inn room. This behavior is intentional.
So, be careful who you give your room keys to. Understand what is going to happen. Do not worry that they can turn in the keys to your room and destroy everything in your room. So long as you are an owner and you have a key in your possession, this will not happen since the innkeeper keeps a tally of the number of room keys he's given out for every room.
In the next couple of months we will be taking a look at this and will examine and explore any changes or tweaks to the system.
Also note that this does not happen for homes.
