Yes like most other CoPaP worlds Arkaz is planning to build a Arkaz 2 using the NWN2 system. That being said I wanted to pass on some information.

1) The exact timetable for Arkaz 2 hasn't been decided on yet.
2) There will be no character Port.
3) It will not take place on Nuvar. It will either be a new island of something else.
4) No Arkaz 1 isn't going away. We know there are many who want to continue to play there and we also understand many of you will not be able to buy NWN2 just yet because of the hareware requirements.
5) The go live date has not been set. There is a lot of work to do before that.
6) CoPaP 2 is still being talked about and theer hasn't been a decision yet. we don't even know if it'll be possible just yet.

Now in order to do this we will need a new server to host the nwn2 mod on, so I'm kicking off the Buy a new Server fundraiser. So if you can feel free to donate to the cause. http://www.arkaz.com/modules.php?name=D ... keDonation

Other then that, keep your eyes here for moer information as we get it.

I love my time here and I'm looking forward to Arkaz 2...so to that end I'm kick in $100.00 to help pay for the server and I'm throwing down the gaunt....err fireball in challenge to everyone. I'd like to see us make our goal.....but is $400 enough?

nope 400 isn't I split the goal into 2 months.

tell you what lets kick that up to 2 gb ram.

I know Norfindel throw the fireball down at everyone's feet but I'm going to lob a hellball. Forget 2 months, I want Terry to go on vacation knowing he'll be ordering the NWN2 server when he gets back...so he should get it just in time for the NWN 2 release.

To that end I'll match, dollar for dollar, every donation made before he leaves for vacation, up to $450.00.

That's $900.00, should buy a kick ass server, in fact I might have some links to send Terry for a few good deals going on, maybe he can take a breather from paying what he has to pay to keep us all running around scared of the undead.

I'm starting with Norfindel's 100, so you have a pledge for 100 from me...let see if we can get it all.

Don't get me wrong, yes it will allow me to buy a server that will last us a long time...Well lets see what happens.

nope it's okay I'm good. I just quite D&D Online and WoW, so I plan to start dumping my $30 a month I was giving them in to Arkaz...and I plan to start playing a atleast 10 to 20 hours a week....so evil beware, my arrows are on the way
