First off, make note: Houses ARE NOT affected by this announcement.

Soon we'll be migrating over to a new system for handling inn rooms. More details will follow as we test the system and get more confident with its stability. However, I want to start right now with the migration.

You players can help me out by PMing me the inn rooms for which each of your PCs is the PRIMARY owner. Please provide me with the following information for EACH inn room:

Inn
Room #
PC Name

For example:

Black Swan

The reason that this is important is because under the current system every PC who has opened the door to an inn room is listed as an owner in the database! (Unless they turned in their keys via the innkeep.)

Please please PLEASE do this for me and this migration will be so painless you'll barely even notice it. Once done, all you'll have to do is talk to the innkeeper and ask him for a new key to your rooms.

Let me be clear here. You will not have to empty out your inn chest or turn in your keys. So please don't. Before it goes live (we may implement it slowly, one inn at a time), the playerbase will be notified and you will have time to remove irreplaceable items from your chests if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Thank you for the quick responses I've gotten so far. Although I still want to hear from EVERYONE who has an inn room, of particular interest to me are the following rooms:

Those with 2 owners currently listed:
Heroes Rooms 18 and 20

Those with 0 owners currently listed:
Black Swan Rooms 12, 13, 14
Heroes Rooms 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 14

Hero's walk # 11

and I could've sworn I had an inn room for my alt Jack Olivander at the Port LeVallon and/or Black Swan, but oh well

Ah ha! Decided to look in a 10/23 backup of the innrooms table.

Stale rooms (not accessed within the past 3 months):
Black Swan 12
Black Swan 13
Heroes 3
Heroes 14

Empty rooms (nobody listed as owner):
Heroes 2
Heroes 5
Heroes 6
Heroes 7

Rooms with multiple owners listed (whether or not they're stale):
Heroes 18 (Bodica, Laura Landers)
Heroes 23 (Kayla, Wind Desen)

The biggest thing to get settled is ownership of the above rooms. If your PC IS NOT a primary owner of any of the above rooms, but is still listed, let me know and I'll remove your PC name.

You do. It's Black Swan room 12. Go pay your rent and I can remove it from the list of stale rooms and add you as primary owner. Until you do, though, your name is not currently listed as an owner of the room.
