Hey guys, we're still down. I don't have a solid ETA for when we'll be back up again. Terryrayc is unavailable, and it's a problem we can't solve remotely. Hopefully I'll have some better news to share tomorrow!

Hey boys and girls, just to keep you in the loop, we're having a hard time getting in touch with Terryrayc(Vacation and being abducted by Were-Ninja Jedi are two current theories). I'll post here when I have more details to share.

looks like we ran out of disk space on the db server...which is strange because a few weeks ago we had a ton of free space. I'm working on that now. Should be up shortly.

currently I have the system moving the server vault backups to a different vdisk. This is generating a lot of I/O because the vdisk is on a shared drive. I'm going to stop that when I get home from work and install a new disk to use that is not shared. This should take care of most of the issue. I also notice that I have around 5 years of SV backups that are online. I'm going to move those to an offline storage and only keep about a month of online files. This will solve the space issues for good. However this means that if you need a character restored from longer then a month ago it'll take a few extra hours for me to do the restore.

Hey boys and girls, the servers should be up and running. However, I have a sneaking suspicion quite a few people will need character restores(In addition to the ones that already posted). Please check your vaults and make sure all your characters are there. Post here ... http://www.arkaz.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=7363&start=30 ... if any are missing or corrupted.
