Just FYI, while I'm not in the direct path we can expect heavy winds and rain. I do not expect power loss or such but it's always possible.

GP and I are driving down that way starting this evening. Praying that the storm could miss US mostly and just bring rain.

We've postponed the trip for a day or so to see what pans out. Rather be stuck at home than some place in danger. Stay safe all those in FL and keep us posted on how you're doing.

Made it down safe and back. Went I85 to Atlanta and then down 75 to Florida. Longer route, but missed Matthew except for rain. Came back 95 and all was pretty good except for a detour around Lumberton, NC. But we're back and safe now.
