W.O.D. or World of Darkness is a pnp game like dnd and such except the rules are different. You can play vampires, werecreatures, changelings, mages, highlanders, even have a class like the character in The Crow. It's set in the modern times and our world but with a dark gothic twist to it. It's really cool

If you want to play WOD on PC i suggest you enter Activisione side Vampire The Masquerade "Redemption" or it's sequel "Bloodlines". Ive played it when Kanteletar was MG, it's real fun i must admit. Same as pen and paper rules, no changes were made in game rules. But there are no servers running for now in Poland:(

On Medea's question? I would say evil. Being a shape shifter he could have taken many other forms. Taking that of a child baited the "baddies" into a false sence of security and control. Granted it may have been the best place to find his friend and although he convinced himslef of this, the method chosen is very questionable. Had he changed into a huge Rotty I doubt many would have bothered him at all. Using the sentient or nonsentient life as a steam release is not the act of someone good.

As for Layl cutting loose on everything in town, that is the stuff of nightmares. But in Layl's case evil or not does not enter into the equation because of how the character is played. He is friendly yet enough know his power to not fear him as much as respect him. And Ialways keep one thought in mind. No matter how powerful your character is they have a weakness and someone can take them out. Even if Dae and Layl went head on the winner is in question based upon the timeing. If she caught him resting there is not question he goes down. However given a little bit of time to prepare he would clean her clock.

Right with one exception....intent...did he take a child form so that others with info respond to him..due to maybe saying I am looking for my uncle, aunt, mom, Dad, etc..with no intent on hurting people...looking more for sympathy due to most will help a crying or disgruntled child. But then again I think it all goes back to INTENT..*grins*

Character's close friend/mentor is kidnapped and character cannot find him; character is very worried and upset. Character goes to the worst part of town and shapeshifts to that of a helpless lost child. When child is threatened by baddies, he shapeshifts to something monsterous and rips them apart. Repeat scenario until the body count is about 16 baddies dead. He then goes home, angry because his night out didn't blow off enough steam and he's still worried about his friend.

He killed baddies, not goodies, yes. But he killed them terribly (imagine claws, fangs, spleen going "splat!" against the alley wall) and he killed them for no higher purpose than he wanted to "let off some steam." Evil or not?
I may have agreed but for a few points highlighted. To me the first signifies intent and the second the reason for the act in the first place.
