Hiya,
So... Just reading some spell and ability descriptions, and figured I'd ask: what do the various duration lengths translate to?
Especially, what is a "turn?" I *think* it means/meant "10 rounds" in PnP, but not sure. And even if that's right, doesn't mean it's true in this game.
But, how long do durations last, in real time?
(Hoping this isn't foig info, since I'd *think* a character would learn what their abilities do in the process of learning those abilities, right?)
Anyway, as always, thanks for your time!
Quick terminology question?

Tried to find a quote, but nothing was short enough!

Re: Quick terminology question?
Usually a turn = 10 rounds = 1 minute.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it's the same IG.
The one I always forget though is how long 1 IG hour is.
Several minutes anyway.
And of course it differs per CoPaP world.

Thanks!
(Think I read one IG day = 96 minutes (in the "lycanthopy and you" thread.). That would make an IG hour = 4 minutes, right?

Re: Quick terminology question?
1 round = 6 seconds
1 turn = 10 rounds = 1 minute
1 hour = 4 minutes ... 4 hours between rests = 16 minutes
1 day = 24 hours = 96 minutes
All spell durations end when you rest (Without DM approval otherwise), so take that in mind when you cast area-spells that you're RPing with (Consecration or Glyph of Warding) that you might want to say are protecting you while you sleep!
afaik there is only 1 "1-day" spell which is not static to an area (Continuous Flame, which still adds a temp property and does not actually permanently add the light effect) so under most circumstances you won't be seeing those spells expire.
