Please make an effort to pick up the remains of things that you kill, and don't leave items laying around. It may be IC for your PC to be a litterbug, but things laying around on the ground mean more things for the server to keep track of, meaning more overall lag. It's a small thing, but lots of small things tend to add up to lag.

So, please, it's GOOD metagaming for you to make the effort to clean up after yourself. If you don't want the stuff, create a campfire and destroy it. The campfire will disappear in time if you don't want the fire damage from destroying it.
