Nuvar Fair????

Okay, I am looking for a little player feed back. OOCly I love fairs as a gathering event for characters here and off world. I was OOCly looking for the one on Hala to come off and it may well not come off now. Therefore I was considering one for Nuvar. Not the big fair like in Ferrell where people sell their items for profit or trade but rather like a big party and just for fun and RP. I am not sure if there are the scoring targets here like on Avlis but we could have an archery tournament with some minor prize going to the winner or other things of the sort. Grease wresteling comes to mind too (too many Dru'Elite parties) or a drinking contest or two say one where you would perform a dex roll and the other till the last one standing wins on drinks that can put your character prone from an endurance failure on a roll.

We should most likely also come up with some kind of cause for the event. Others have used it for rebuilding a community or for orphans but we have neither.

So give me some feedback on how you feel about something like this, including the team.

I am also interested in a Nuvar fair. But for the drinking contest, I will just have to try bringing Jack to that one

I think a fair would be really great.
Where I used to live, every Sept. we would have Jackson Day. Just a day for everyone from the town to get together to socialize, some of the local businesses would have stalls so you could see what they specialize in. Candidates for Mayor and such would mingle and you could talk to them on their views.
Anyway, maybe we could just have a yearly Nuvar Day?

I love the sound of a fair bringing all of Nuvar together for revellry and fun. *keeps Ays away from the drinking contest*

It'd be great fun to see stalls, performers etc.

I think a Nuvar Fair sounds like great fun, and as far as a reason to have it? Just the fact that IG it is Summer or Winter or Autumn or Spring is enough reason to have a fair!! We could have one for every season as far as I am concerned!! 8)
