In case you were wondering....

Well I got a new Comp and tried to use the Vista that came with it...well needless to say I hated it so much I shook my preverbal fist at it and yelled " I get even with you...I go back and load XP, that'll teach ya!".......Well the comp got back at me and wouldn't let me load any drivers except those compatible with Vista.....(Damn you Microsoft)...
To make a long story short I have just gotten internet...well an operating system back (yes it took that long to get online because I had to order a new recovery disk from HP since I erased the backup drive too. *laughs*.....so I am in the process of downloading the files I need right now....and when I'm done I can play...*cheers*

If you did a full hard drive format, there should be no traces left of vista on the machine.. XP should install just fine, drivers included.

My sis has vista and though she can play (bad vista) she crashes often.

Vista is horrible in my honnest opinion.

You know, this reminds me that I should download a copy of XP from our school's website (we have a site license for it) to stash away for the day that they only offer Vista for download.

Definately do not get Vista. I'm getting a new one around Feb. but I haven't seen any in stores that do not come with Vista. So I plan on ordering it from somewhere.

What is your price range Knightlight?
