In answer to Dae's question...in my case yes, thomas has always travelled off-world to stock up on potions. I can craft them on avlis, or buy them. Thomas does not have any real alchemy ability on arkaz...and I have heard that making heal potions is pretty tough due to there being very limited quantities of the needed materials. I do not know if that is accurate anymore or not...but it was just always much easier to travell to get them. I would much rather not have to leave world to get heal potions. I like the thought of having p-merchants that can buy and sell these things too.

I personally do not choose to craft a lot, as I had a craft-only main for several years. As a person who buys a lot from crafters, I really like the idea of supporting players who put in the time to craft, instead. :D

For what its worth, Nerice's last trip to Avlis was to spend 200ooo gold to stock up on potions that she doesn't know how else to obtain on Ysgard or Arkaz in order to minimize the reason for transfer requests. If they are craftable and for sale on other planes, crafters haven't been advertising them. 8)

The only crafting I really did lots of was Scribing Scrolls.. I know I wish there was a way for us to have the higher tier gems in varying sizes and be able to make wands like on Avlis.. that's one of things I really enjoyed most about crafting.. seeing someone run around with an item with my name on it :D

The plans for the crafting school consisted of 1 EP chest so crafting supplys would never be over stocked with just 1 item type and all crafters could make use of them. Also 1 E merchant so crafted items could be sold and made available for resale to other PCs with out depleating the funds of all the local merchants and the useful already made items from other crafters are not just lost every reset. This would make our craftable items resellable for our residents and visitors alike, instead of having to run off world for items that some master crafters can make but have no place to sell them that is persistant. Aswell as sometimes the master crafter of a certian item is not available or gone for weeks on end. In my opion the armor crafting is the skill that needs a bit more crafting xp per success. As a master crafter I think most of the recipes we have working already are great and mosty logical and should not be altered.
