Death Ghosts

Sorry if this was already discussed, but I was wondering if the ghosts that characters turn into after dying are recognizable? That is, can you tell who the character is by looking at their ghost or are they just gaseous forms?

If you have met the PC before, yes you can recognise some features of the ghost
