1) For the teleporting ring to set a teleport place you have to choose an open area.
2) Using the ring to teleport back to the place you have set as landing place, you have to be in an open area too, this is the way the ring is working now.
But I think it's more correct that I can use the ring to teleport back to my landing place from everywhere even inside a cave.
