Wrong deity

What can be done if someone stupidly entered the wrong deity while making their character? I don't particularly want to just reroll, having done a few quests and gotten a couple of items now.

First of all welcome to Arkaz.

Partially it depends on the class you have taken. Divine casters have to exactly match the deity to gain fifth level spells (cleric). Now don't concern yourself too much with alignment either immediately. Find a god that fits you and your character. Submit an e-mail to the team with your characters background and goals and preferred deity. The deity just like a PrC is DM adjustment only. It is not immediate but it is so much better than walking up to an NPC and insta-converted. We have a great team here and they would like nothing better than to pwn I mean help you.

Sonja just lost a bunch of lawful points so she could take bard. Trust me, the alignment adjustment by an event is so much more fun than robbing a few houses.
