Noor is crashing my game

As some of you know, last night I had trouble logging into the game. I was trying to play Noor. After updating my drivers, etc, testing the game today shows I can log in any of my characters on any CoPaP world EXCEPT NOOR.

The crashing appears to be related to her. Any suggestions?

I really don't want to risk losing any of her inventory, especially since she is currently carrying Sanctuary.

#1 - I'll get a copy of Noor's bic off the server to look at and for safe keeping.
#2 - Have you brought another PC to the same place that Noor is at? If it's a tileset (i.e. hak) issue that's causing you to crash, it's certainly possible none of your other PCs crash because they aren't in the same tileset with the same placeables around.
#3 - I'd suggest Terry restore an older copy of Noor's bic to see if the crashes still happen.

Real good point Bruno. I had a place that I kept crashing in Wildes just outside Deglos. I really lowered video defaults so I could get out.

Two things...

I tried Noor out on my local test server and was able to run her from Start Area to Anna's with no issues. Seems likely the issue is local to your computer, Medea. But it's not a graphics card issue, as evidenced by the fact none of your other PCs crash. I would still re-download all of the haks (yes, it's a royal pain) and try that AFTER trying Dae's suggestion of lowering graphics settings.

Second thing is that I took the opportunity while I was testing Noor to get all the info I need to recreate Sanctuary. With your permission, I will correct Gurky's oversight in not naming Sally as a designer as well; something that's always bugged me personally.

I'm confused as to why it would be my haks if every other character is working, Bruno?

Yes, please correct the oversight on Sanctuary, B. It's only right that Sally be included.

If a hak is corrupt, basically what that means is a file stored in that hak is corrupt. If that file's a texture (basically nothing more than a picture), when your computer tries to display this corrupt picture, it can cause you to crash. If it's the texture for a tree, it will only cause you to crash when you run across that tree in game. So if your other PCs aren't around that tree or one just like it, they won't have any problems. That's how it could be a hak issue, and you are still able to log in your other PCs with no problems.

Since I do not know where Noor was when she was crashing, I do not know what tileset it was. I suspect the problem is similar to the one Dae had in Wilds. If I run into it again, I'll try to note where it happens. Thanks and game on!

Was it in Avani's Grove MLLW? Last time I saw Noor, all 3 of us were there for a bit though everything seemed fine. unless you left that area?

Noor had left Avani's grove. She had been attempting to go to Port Lavallon when she took a wrong turn and got lost (IC and OOC).
