Dying XP bug? Or what?

Post by Rudiki » Tue Aug 25, 2009 5:10 am

Don't know if this is a bug or not, and don't know what a mantis bug tracker is, so posting here. Apologies for curtness; very late. Died, wondered how much XP I would lose, so jotted down 382688, then talked to the nice lady and emerged as a ghost, eventually got back to my bod and after it was all over found I now had 384088, so apparently instead of losing XP I gained a bunch. Why? Is this normal? Does not seem to compute. Norman, coordinate? Thanks!

the moment you die it takes the exp, so if you died first then wrote down your exp, you might have written down the number of exp you had after they took it. it comes out to be like 50 exp per level so a 1400 difference? im guessing your around lvl 28. right? hope this helps

Yes, did you write that number down before or after you died? On Hala i don't think it takes the xp from you until you talk to the NPC to leave the death plane. Here it takes it as soon as you dp and returns it when you walk out or are raised by a resurrection.
