Is the wiki 'in character' knowledge?

Post by Zombie » Mon Jan 21, 2013 6:38 pm

Specificly the deities pages. Can it be assumed that a character could learn a deities general lore, beleifs and favoured weapon (as described in the wiki) simply by asking around the temple district etc? What about Anamaleth? Ive never heard her name used in game ever.

The reason I ask is that one of my characters has decided to collect various holy weapons and so would do a little research about the local gods.
Today you will suddenly realize how sensuous pudding can be. This will mark a turning point in your life.

Anything on the Wiki may be considered common, IC knowledge. That said, some information just wouldn't make sense for your character to necessarily know. What a character does and does not know is ultimately left up to the player's discretion.
