server hiccupping, map pins not saved

I was on Islands last night with Kir; the server went down once and restarted and also I was disconnected once but don't think it went down. Sometime after it went down I started noticing that after rests I was getting a message about previous map pin save not completed, and many (but not all) of my saved map pins had disappeared. Haven't been back yet to check whether newly replaced map pins were saved or not.

it's possible the server went down during a save...but it'd expect the DB to not commit the update and drop the changes....let me know if they didn't save when you check next.

Last time I had this issue it was a case of having over 70+ map pins.
I think the system is limited to a lower number and starts overwriting them at some point,
For me the fix was removing so many map pins I had only some 50 or so left.

It might be nice, as an aside, to have the map pin message mention the maximum number allowed like 'You now made pin X of Y maximum'.

Wasn't keeping track well enough to tell, sorry.

FWIW, the entrance message says I have 37 map pins, and I don't think I had many more when the screwiness happened.

No new map pin screwiness noticed since.
