GoG Compatibility?

Post by Chastened Phoenix » Wed May 24, 2017 11:26 pm

Hey team!

So, I just realized: I'm not sure if the GOG copy of NWN I'm using these days will accept the add-ons and such needed to play. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

The only issue I've heard of with GOG is that you need to get a unique CD key; as I understand it, they all come with a generic CD key, and you have to get a specific one from them. I think I've seen it mentioned on the Avlis forum.

I was actually worrying about installing the additional files. I'd had trouble in the past patching a game from them. I think I've figured it out, though.

As for CD Key, they say there's a set in my account page. I believe I've found it.
So... downloading the files now. Might even do a system check tonight, if that's ok?
