Raves to Team Arkaz 1.69!

Post by makelovelikewar » Fri Oct 10, 2008 1:23 pm

Huge raves to the Arkaz Team, especially those involved in upgrading to 1.69! You guys stayed on top of things during all the many changes and tweaks. Ultra cool stuff has been added. And, of course, any bugs or glitches have been immediately and aggressively pursued. Thank you for your diligence and hard work! You guys just rock!

*cheers the home team!* :D

I love the one fix in 1.69 for greater cleave, it finally works right. Just for a test I took Sonja into the goblin caves and killed over 2 dozen in a single round. She got at least 10 greater cleaves on the first attack of the round. I am looking forward to hearing from the WM's out there as to whirlwind attack fix. I felt sorry for poor Thor. The place CoPaP kept putting the current status was blocked for him and I tried to keep him updated.

The absolute best part for me is yet to come though. After over two RL years of emoting Sonja as a WDD while being a RDD will end. No more cheese, no more avoiding cold damage or energy buffing to take care of it. Cone of Cold breath weapon instead of fire. Though poor Thor is the one who will have to fix the bics. He has worked so very hard on this.

The lion's share of the thanks for this update belong to Thor, who did on the vast majority of the work to get Arkaz ready for 1.69. Thanks should also go to MadKat for her invaluable cooperation.

The Hala team deserves all the credit for that one, although I'm sure they'll be glad to know you like the changes. ;)

Yes, Arkon wrote the code to my understanding. I am looking forward to seeing it though. Right now no Arkaz DD can go anywhere until thier bic is fixed. No Thor I am not rushing it. I just look forward to seeing it in place.
