It started innocently to help Layl out with NPC psions he had met off world. So we agreed to meet to do a little QA away from public eyes. It was just Dae, Kris and Layl on the server at the time but we disappeared from the beaten paths so OOC would not be accidentally viewed as IC.
The testing went well with the players stating in talk that it was an OOC test and all parties had agreed it was OOC.
We had just completed the testing when Dae started to show the effects of what looked like negative energy and saves. I asked Layl OOCly what spell he was using and he said that he had not used any. Then Layl starts to show the same type of visual effects and the answer was clear. The mystery DM had arrived and was joining in on the fun. Turns out he just wanted to test out some spell effects. Unfortunately for Layl I mentioned to the DM that he really wanted to try out the Spider Lord (known as an Anti-Dae spawn).
Then the real fun began as Layl buffed up and quickly went down. I am rolling in laughter at the screen. Next thing I know he is all over Dae and she is down and out. DM heal later and Layl is given all the time needed to buff. Repeat process but poor innocent Kris who only wanted to watch was the one DPed. Sorry about that Kris.
Spider Lord returns once more but this time things are different. I read the combat window and find the Spider Lord failing saves on fortitude on Dae's gauntlets that have stun of DC14. The poor spawn was rolling nice saves but with a negative 111 base fort save he failed each time.
Terry it was a blast and something that was a lot of fun. OOC testing is great!!!
