New Server

Terry that was awesome fun testing last night. A server that is actually Nimbler proof. Spawns like I rarely ever see and not a bit of lag to be seen. I bet you had at least fifty to seventy-five spawns in one small area at the same time. Not a bit of lag until we started to accumulate what looked like about on hundred drops in the area from no cleanup. And even with four characters in the area killing books, tables and what ever else you threw the server stayed strong.

I agree that it rocked! Let me suggest a follow-up test? Do it again but this time include lag-inducing PCs like multiple epic mages using graphic-intensive spells and the like.

It was fun!

oh we did the maeg test...in fact I uploaded some pics of Sonja getting some goblin mage lovin to the gallery.

Oh they sure did love her, what were there about 50 of the mage spider riding goblins? OMG even a Hell ball, icestorms galore and heaven knows what else I missed and she was casting in return. Without a bit of special blessing by Dertmore she would have DPed several dozen times. I would however like to see the effect of clone as I understand from an Avlis event can lag the server. I know Dae was cloned on Avlis a long time ago before she could do it herself as well as half a dozen other characters who had on psion abilities. Could we get about half a dozen characters and clone them to test too?
