I have never played a druid but after watching what was going on at the event I may rethink that omission.
Sonja did not do much there other than watch and for the most part. As a player thought I was fascinated by the presentation Terror set up and loved the interaction of everyone there. Everyone got into it well and Terror did such a good job with the unexpected reuniting of two sisters who were separated years ago.
The mood was as I hoped, very sedate and ritualistic. Kudos to both Terror and the players for something that kept a non-druid thoroughly entertained.
There was also a lot of work that went into building that area and please leave it intact. Even if the druids there disappear I love the area itself.

It was very fun and pretty much what I expected of what was to happen. I had so much fun. The two sisters finally being reunited was an extra special gift I must say. From running between the flames to making the staffs. Much fun and much work went into it all. Kudos Terror =)

Yes! I couldn't agree more!
I love playing druids and I -try- to do a good job of it and I believe this event was down to what a druid is or should be.
I didn't quite know what to expect, but the whole ran smoothly and was well orchestrated. The players played along as much in friendship than as "colleagues" of sort. Kudos to Terror for organising it! Great job on the roll-out of the event and on the props and settings. The examination of the harvest and animals, running between the firest and making the staves and all... Thoroughly loved it!
And I certainly didn't expect the reunion to take place there either... we weren't planning on doing it during an event, but how it happened fitted with the whole context of Samhain and took on an entirely new meaning.

Sorry if it disrupted anything, Terror.
On the whole, a wonderful event! Thanks SO MUCH Terror for making it real!
Cant' wait for the next one!

Being as I heartily concur with all of the above, the only original thought I can add to said above is:
Body Paint.

Thanks, Terror! It was really well done and a unique experience for me!
I'm sorry I kept crashing out, and then took so long to get back and missed the final activities. *sighs* It just means you have to do MOOOORE DROOOOOD STUFF!
And I am sooooo glad I got to watch the sisters reunite!
It meant a lot to me, you two, oocly

The area will stay mostly as it is (the druids will return when it's appropriate); I plan to use it for other druidic rituals to come.
Now we just need screenies posted if anyone took any, for those that could not attend.
