Arkaz Policy on Starting Isles

A good rule of thumb is this: If the isle is Predominantly a dungeon isle, PCs are generally not allowed to be native to the isle. Some Specific Racial exceptions apply (see below.)



Approved
  • Nuvar - Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins primarily (and others)
    Yamman Arda (you can PM the team with your background for some lore your native would know, if you wish)
    Toloria - Primarily elves. As Terror puts lore in place, this will also include Orc and Kobold tribes. No other playable races will originate from here. Other races can "wash" ashore just like on Nuvar, but not have a Toloira background.
    Puomala Island - Well tanned barbarian humans

    Isle of Rolling Hills (not created in the module yet, but can be used as background) - Halflings IRH

    Island of Gnomes (not created in the modules yet, but can be used as background) - An unnamed island planned to be home for Gnomes.
Approved Only for Exceptions
  • Goblin Isles - Goblins Only, originating from the Goblin Farm

    Isle of Iron - Dwarves Only

    Avarine - All Arkaz created Avariel must be from Avarine

    Arvia - Humans and Half-Orcs only

Not Approved
  • Keivick

    Tiger Isle -- Centaurs Only (not currently an available PC race)

    Seraz - Must be pre-approved by WL or Head DM BEFORE CREATION. MUST be an outstanding background for a Lizard of either the Wasaan or Ishaari to want to leave the island as an adventurer PC.
