Notice from Arkon regarding the CO and My Plot

Enough is enough people...

Look, I know there are hurt prides, hurt feelings, and people frustrated at having been left out of the plot that's been running for the last couple of weeks. I understand that people want to be involved and may very well have an IC reason for being involved. That's all fine and well...

And as I made the post on Hala.. if you want to be involved but you have not received an invite from either myself or the CO.. there are 2 reasons... either 1) you don't fit in with the CO or 2) it was an oversite.

BUT!!! That does not mean you are out of the plot entirely. If you still want in, PM me and if it's feasible, i'll find a way to include you in it. If you are evil.. we can find an evil post for you. If you are good but not trusted by the CO.. we'll find a way to get you in. I've done so already with SEVERAL players.

What I'm tired of is all the OOC bickering going on with the CO players and the OOC hurt feelings being turned IC.

The CO plays their guild the way the guidelines written up by the Hala staff say they should play the guild. They are a LG organization with a leaning towards NG. They follow the directions and orders of 2 LG Gods. As such.. they'd get spanked like children if they allowed a CE character in their party. Period. They do what they do not because they want to hog an event or ruin someone else's fun.. they do it because it is required of them as an LG organization.

So please... stop with all the OOC sniping turning into weak based IC actions. It's starting to make me realize why i stepped back from the DM client.

If you want in the plot and don't currently have a way in.. PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I concur. As a Player I have no hard feelings over the event, I enjoy playing with everyone--and look forward to many other events. My character while he perceives a slight will get over it. This is NOT personal in by any means. Case closed for me.

One of my character's names was bandied about quite a lot over this, and I could care less what happened. Just hearing the crap on IRC about how you needed an invite, and even if you had IC reasons you still couldnt participate had me run screaming away from the server hours in advance of when it was supposed to happen. When IC reasons arent enough to participate in something, thats when I lose interest, its no longer a roleplaying game and it becomes something else, which Im not interested in at all. So be clear-- my characters did not interact with the CO, or the guest DM, or anyone, nor was there any IC or OOC repercussions whatsoever aside from me not bothering to game on the server for a while.

I play the game to HAVE FUN and the moment its not fun, Im gone. Period. But I think you should chill on putting people down because they get mad over being slighted- -this goes for everyone. Its a game people.... try to have some fun. Arkon dont call people weak for reacting in a human manner, its off putting. Have some compassion, and that goes to you players as well, chill... drink a couple guinnesses, light up that stogey and take a few puffs... whatever floats your boat. But always keep in mind that this is a game we play, not reality. And when people get slighted, they will feel upset-- so try not to slight people. Just be polite and straightforward and you will avoid 99.5% of all problems in my opinion.

And as always, I am entitled to my opinion and I dont think ANYONE else has to agree with it. Thats why its My opinion. Not 'The' opinion.

PS you might want to be more OOC if and when you ever do something like this again and post somewhere beforehand on the arkaz forums about staying away from the server or whatever unless you have a golden ticket. Just a suggestion, ignore at your leisure.
