Somtimes restarting the servers will fix this. I can't get ig till later to do it. Can any other dm hop in there and restart it?

Also, Ysgard will probably need restarted as well. If someone could ask the Hala team in irc pretty please.

If that doesn't fix it then it'll have to wait till Terryrayc gets home this evening (east coast time).

Both servers have been restarted. Arkon's guess was Terry has moved everything back onto the main machine, so it needs to be set back up accordingly.

(this isn't a 100% answer, just speculation)

FYI:

Hala and Ysgard are offline for a bit. Our main database needs to have the Hard drive replaced.

Seems there's an issue with portalling off Arkaz to Ysgard (unsure if it's the same problem on their side).

You get a

Trying to portal

hold on....
hold on....
hold on....

Your character file could not be transferred successfully (an error occured) portaling aborted.

Ysgard/hala was done for a bit this morning, could be tied to that?
