Timing

Post by Daemona » Thu Sep 18, 2008 3:50 pm

I just had to share this.

One of the guys in the office is about to have a baby girl. Without his knowledge we had scheduled a luncheon for him today. The pizza was ordered the cake here and then about an hour before it was to happen, his wife called from home. She was due next week and looks like she went into labor. We are eating his food anyhow.

LOL thats the way it goes. When Adam was born I was scheduled for a csection. We where supposed to be at the hospital 8am. At about 4:30 am my waterbroke. :D So my scheduled csection ended up with beepers still going off and doctors being rushed. So rushed that because of the meds they gave me, Last thing i rember them saying is ..*did she sign it? No....* Quite funny now. Not so much then.

 yeha they came out to me where I was waiting and asked me to sign the paperwork since she was drugged up and couldn't legally sing it. The doc looked rather sheepish :D

LOL...I think all my kids were born early, from what I remember. Hope you are having a great lunch there though!

One of my friends from work had the same thing happen. She had to have a C-section because her hips were messed up in an accident and her water broke the day before her operation was scheduled. So they rushed her to the hospital and thankfully all was well. Funny how that seems to happen.... :D
