Player account
Hey all
I'm presently trying to make my way back on Isle, but I've run into some trouble regarding my gamespy account. I've forgotten the password and it seems like the account is registered to a different email adress than the one I used for the board. Which means I can't reset the password of the gamespy account.
I wonder if anyone knows of a way to see which email is connected to a gamespy name?
I've a feeling it ain't possible, but thought I'd ask anyway. Just in case.

Re: Player account
Look in your NWN folder for the NWN ini file. Open it in a text edit program like Text Edit on a Mac or Clipboard on a Windows machine. You should be able to see your password for Gamespy listed there. I just checked and I see mine. It might also show which email account it tied to your Gamespy account but I didn't look further.
Hope this helps.

Re: Player account
Thanks for the tip
It does indeed show the email adress as well for the account I've been able to log on with.
However the account in question isn't showing anywhere which I guess is due to the fact I've never been logged on with it on this computer.
Back to trying out passwords I guess...

Re: Player account
My computer died recently, I took the hard drive out and connected it to my new computer, and with a bit of work, I was able to access all my old files that way.
I'm not sure if that's an option for you or not.

Re: Player account
It's roughly 2 years past I replaced it and I didn't expect to have need of it ever again so it's completely gone

They save all that information on their site.
