Seems so. I wasn't aware it adjusted for individual timezones. I will keep that in mind for future calendar entries.

Sorry I missed it too. Even if I wasn't out with a sinus infection I would have missed it due to the time problem. Had thought it started at 8pm central. Anyways, Marcus will love to attend your next event.

Sorry about missing yesterday as well. Greg and I were out at the horse races and I've been hit with my allergies. :D We promise to be at the next one and Callie is my little druid here.

seems they all work that way, so it's something to look out for in the future.

for example Braellis' upcoming event says 11pm start time.... but if you click on it you cansee where he breaks it out into eastern, central, etc...

Open DM Event this Monday (5/17) at 9pm EST/8pm CST/7pm MST/6pm PST. It's the official opening of my next major plot "The Statues of Arkaz." All are welcomed to attend, be you off-worlder or Arkazian. This is a plot that both good and evil will be interested in, so all alignments are encouraged to come along.
Invited: Everyone

I'm confused.. Why would it list May 17, 2010 11:00pm for the event that starts at 9pm est? Is that really for an in game time? If so, it is very confusing and will screw people up.. imho. :) (at least it will screw me up)

The way it's supposed to work is you just put in your local times for the start/end of the event and the system converts it to the local time of whoever is viewing the calendar. It's never worked quite right because of Daylight savings time issues. Terry was supposed to have updated it, but I'm not sure it fixed anything.

Anyhow, it was supposed to make things easier for all of us, but it hasn't exactly worked out that way *shakes his fist at technology*

Personally, I plan to list all my events as "All day events" And just post the Eastern/Pacific start times in the details text until things get straightened out. That should limit the confusion.

Yep just be sure to click on the event and read the details the person has actually typed in.
