My paladin Belinde is able to cast 4th lv spells. Until recently her 3rd and 4th lv spells were blocked by the deity code as she had no god in the deity field, which is understandable.
After a short event with Forsaken Plague I tried the spells again and was able to cast 3rd and 4th lv spells.
Last night I was giving a demonstration (showing off) and found that I could cast 3rd lv spells, but not 4th.
Bit weird. So I was wondering what lv spells should she be able to cast?
Brynja is still having Assassin spells blocked, but I already have a bug logged for that.
Which spell levels should be blocked by the Deity code?

The code is kinda odd. Let me see if I can find the link for you in a moment, but basically, your caster level is lessened by 4 after level 8... so in theory a high enough divine caster with a foriegn god could still do the highest level spells.
Edit: I am braindead and can't find the link. It's something like:
level 1-8: No change
level 8-12: casts as level 8
level 13 + : casts as level -4

It applies to:
1) Divine casters who have Off world deities in the deity field.
2) Divine casters who have no god in their deity field.
3) People who are following a god of the wrong 'type' for their class (ex. Paladin following Jaeger, and please don't do this!)
Those seeking conversion to a god for IC reasons should contact the team

Yeah. I'm fairly certain Belinde still has an empty deity field

Updated the other thread to be more clear.
