Just wanted to throw a quick rave out for all the off worlders who have made an appearance on Arkaz over recent weeks.
Its been an absolute pleasure to DM for you all, and I hope that some of you will stick around and enjoy Arkaz for longer than you may have planned

I have to comment now on the groups who are coming along with all the players I met on Avlis as Sonja. Unless they checked my ID they did not know me as other than a character they never met. I no more than entered Avlis and I was followed by another local player. The character guided me through Deglos into Wilderness even though they had intended to log after they got back. It may have been only another fifteen minutes of on line time to them but that is not the point. In Wilderness two others lead her to ROTE in Ferrell, just seeing her as someone who needed help.
This hospitality never let up for a moment either. Every group and every character she met showed me the community as a whole and how they would treat someone new to the world.
They listened to her story every time she told it and the story took almost an hour to tell each time.
The DM's also had some fun with the little dragon girl and helped provide a bit more immersion into the world, including meeting the Order of the Dragon's mentor.
It was so nice to look at the world I first joined through new eyes and I have to thank them all for the experience.
I also want to thank the team here for giving Sonja to actually act out my position here as Ambassador in an IC way. I will wager that does not happen very often.
