Psionics not working

Hey there, I just took a level of psion for my character, and when i try to use the powers I get a message that says: "Because of something within you the power fails". Can someone tell me what is wrong or what I may be missing? Thanks.

You might be cursed with Lycanthropy.

I tried casting remove curse...and disease, and drank a remove curse potion....still no effect. Is there something else I have to do?

Just requires remove curse, as far as I'm aware. Which character is it with? I'll play around with the Lycanthropy wand next time I see you on and see if we can fix it.
