persistant map pins

Post by jeathrow » Tue Nov 18, 2008 7:44 pm

I noticed when the graphics have been converted that the map pins are gone. I have been replacing them as this new graphis makes it harder for me to spot my usually harvestable trees. And after this last reset I noticed that all my map pins seem to be gone. I relogged to see and It no longer gives the message xx map pins out of xxx map pins. Was the removel of the persistant map pins intentional or accidental?

No changes have been made to the map pin code or table. I logged Bruno in to check, and his map pins are all in place, even the ones placed before the areas got changed. Here's a screencap of his minimap near the goblin cave:

The Oak Tree map pin (top right) has been there for... sheesh... probably over a year now.

It appears it's just isolated to you. I'll ask Terror to take a look at the map pin table and see if you have any entries.

Yes I went to check and my other chars are fine but I did see where the xx map pins of xxx map pins should be there is an error code.

script avlis_onenter, old: 80000000, tag:, error: TOO MANY INSTRUCTIONS.

That would be the reason, then. I'll take a look at it soon, time permitting. But your map pins are still there. Terror checked the database and there's 99 map pins defined for you.
