That is true but the only broadcom driver for my laptop only works for the Vista operating system.

Does any one know of the hak file for the pictures??? I cant see the picture I selected for my char and some scrolls are whited out.

If you look in the download section there is a link for the picture pack...though that should have nothing to do with your scrolls.

I do know of one person using Vista that swears by it and not at it for gaming. I am not sure what he did to configure it but he is a wizard at OS configuration.

As for the scrolls it could be the driver for the video. I know one person on Avlis that has driver problems with their new vid card in that a potion rack shows white lines instead of the typical bottles. If I can find the Avlis thread I will post it here. I think it was one that Alphonse started some time back on Avlis.

I recently built a new comp, and installed Vista on it. Have had no problems at all with it. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones.

My boyfriend has Vista on his computer. We were told after he got it that Vista uses alot of memory just to run. He plays NWN and NWN2 on his computer but we had to upgrade the RAM to 2 gbs..

my price range... well that depends on if i get my promotion... only been waiting for 9 months for it but hey ima optimistic pessimess-t..
right now im thinking 700 bucks if i get the raise/promotion I can got twice that to around 1400

i was thinking of checking Sam's.. they usually have good deals..

Honestly it depends on what you plan to do with it. Sometimes your best bet is to go to one of your local computer stores that has a good reputation bring in Nwn 1 and 2...if you plan to play 2 and also have a list of what you want to be able to do and ask them what they could do for you. To build your system to your specs. Best way to go, IMOO. That is what I plan to do when I get my new one.
