Cable Down

Got to love the cable co. They were messing in the main box this morning and now I have no cable service at all. I've called them and they tell me the guys were working on someone else and shouldn't have done anything to my service.....which means they are trying to pretend it's my fault. I've got a service ticket open, we'll see how long it takes them to fix it.

Terry, it looks like it is on line again. I was just able to contact the DB which I could not less than an hour ago.

and now my wife calls me to tell me the power went out for about 15 minutes and the modem is having problems resyncing...sigh..I'll let everyone know when it's back up.

I should have read the forums before I pressed the big red button, sorry. I hope everything gets fixed soon. That problem sounds like its getting really annoying

Well this problem isn't fully related. If anyone is following the news, we had a major power outage here in Florida, one of the main nuke power plants went into automatic shutdown for safety reasons...they'd yet to tell us what the safety reason was. This outage seems to have effected the cable company as well. I'll post more as I know it.

Will keep an eye out for info on anything..Yeah just got the package deal with Time warner...Kind of regretting it. They say if the Modem goes out call them and report it...HEY DUMB ARSE...HOW DO I CALL YOU IF I HAVE MY PHONE THROUGH YOUR DARN MODEM>...They are pretty smart...And it kicks offline for no reason all to often..and they are like well there is nothing wrong that we can see ....OH yeah..I must be lying because I love to be on the phone or gaming and just shut off my connection 5 times in an hour..LOL..*sigh* But all is good the rp from lastnight....has me on a good mood high..lol
