Character Casting Level
With character casting levels I understand sorcerer, mage and pale master stack for total casting level. Where does bard fit into total casting level to determine the power of spells cast such as ice storm?

Re: Character Casting Level
Well, your original presumption is incorrect. Wizard and Sorcerer levels do not stack to determine caster level. If you are a level 5 Wizard and a level 10 Sorcerer, then a fireball will do 5d6 damage if cast out of your Wizard spell list and 10d6 damage if cast out of your Sorcerer spell list.Daemona wrote:With character casting levels I understand sorcerer, mage and pale master stack for total casting level. It basically breaks down like this:
Level in class used to cast the spell + Modifications to caster level for appropriate prestige classes.
Thus, Sonja's single Bard level has NO impact on the power of her Sorcerer spells.
