well after i was told i didnt need to be home to have the connection enabled an engineer called on friday while i was at work.

The earliest i can get a repeat appointment . . . . ?

Friday 13th . . .

following which I'm in baltimore for a week.

So dont expect anything in game from me for about 3 weeks

Sounds just like my cable company. After you are the very first person they ever installed for, so they had no real idea that they would need you there or not.

We will look forward to your return and for once Friday the 13th will be a lucky day for the rest of us.
